Canton 1  vs Ellington 4

We started the season on the road against a tough Ellington team that played well.  To give Ellington due credit, they scored two quick goals, on superb shots from outside the box, that no goalie in high school soccer would have saved. Entering half time, we were down 3-0.
We took the field in the second half with the objective of competing hard and establishing possession of the ball.  We played well in the early part of the second half and closed the gap to 3-1, on a nice goal by Emily Rodewald.

The final score was 4-1.  Our record is 0-1-0.
